What is Warts No More?

A wart is a virus classified within the Human Papilloma Viruses (HPVs), which represent a group of more than 100 types of viruses. They are called papilloma viruses because certain types cause warts, or papillomas, which are benign (non-cancerous) tumors.

HPV, commonly known as the "wart virus", is a microscopic virus particle that infects the skin. HPV is one of the most common infections in the world. It infects approximately 40% of all Americans.

In the case of HPV, the infection is actually localized directly to the infected point in the skin, as opposed to the herpes simplex virus. Unlike HPV, the herpes virus goes through the skin and into the nerve cells. It travels up the nerve cell connection to the nerve ganglia by the spinal cord, where the virus lives. With HPV, the infection is actually in the skin.

HPV is contagious and is transmitted through contact of an infected piece of skin with a non-infected piece of skin. The presumption is that the non-infected area has to have a small, perhaps microscopic break that allows a tiny amount of tissue from the infected HPV area to get into the non-infected area, allowing an infection to set in.

Therefore, if a person with a wart anywhere on the body were to place that area in contact with the genitalia of the other person, this could cause the wart virus to be transmitted to the genital area of the partner. This applies to warts on fingers, as well as warts on the genitals of the infected partner.

Different types of HPVs cause common warts that grow on hands and feet, as compared to those that develop around the mouth and genital area. Warts appear as single bumps or in clusters, some having a cauliflower structure.

Of the more than 100 types of HPV identified, there are more than 30 types that have the ability to infect the genital tract. These genital warts can be passed from one person to another through sexual intercourse.

Genital HPV may cause warts to appear on or around the genitals and anus of both men and women. Genital warts often occur in groups and can be very tiny, or can accumulate into large masses, on genital tissues. Left untreated, genital warts may eventually develop a fleshy, cauliflower-like appearance.

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is one of the most common causes of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in this country. It is estimated that as many as 40 million Americans are infected with HPV in the genital tract, and the incidence of this disease appears to be increasing.

Using Warts No More

Moisten a cotton swab with the product. Dab or swab the wart with it and cover it with adhesive strip. Apply it twice a day. Or, apply one drop to the wart and cover it with adhesive strip.

When treating genital warts it is not mandatory to cover the wart with an adhesive strip as this is a sensitive area of the body. The product will still work. In this case apply with a Q-tip or cotton swab.

It is important to note that any apparent increase in the size of the wart signals the beginning of the healing process. Those parts of the wart hidden beneath the skin are rejected by the healing tissue and are pushed outward.

Warts flake away after 2-5 weeks of treatment. It is meant for external use only. For plantar warts, use a pumice stone to scrape away dead skin and expose the wart before applying.

I want to say thank you for providing a product that successfully and painlessly cured a planters wart that I had battled for more than a year and a half. An 11ml bottle of Warts No More Extreme Strength was the last method I tried and will be the first should I ever have to deal with another wart.

In late 2006 I developed a small wart on the front ball of my left foot. Given that it was small and covered an area less than half the diameter of the eraser on a wooden pencil I expected that I could very quickly get rid of the wart with a single package of Dr. Sholl's Freeze Away. After several treatments a day and some extremely painful experiences I knew that a single package would not be enough to solve my problem. Over the next year I tried four or five more packages of Dr. Sholl's Freeze Away in addition to some highly regarded "wives tale" treatments such as wrapping the affected spot in Duct Tape for a full week and cutting the top of the wart off then applying a solution of lemon juice and salt. As the months passed the wart grew to nearly the size of a dime and I realized that one treatment after another had failed. As the size of the wart grew my ability to walk was severely hampered and out of desperation, on several attempts, I tried to pull the wart out with pliers. It was a month or two later that I was told by my doctor that my wart would have to be surgically cut out, which I knew had very poor rates of success. My last, desperate attempt, which was one of the dumbest things I've ever done, was to cut the top of the wart off with a razor then soak my foot in bleach for ten minutes. After three separate bleach treatments the skin on my foot was dried, cracking and bleeding. The wart was as large as ever and showing no signs of retreating after all that I had to to be rid of it.

I can't thank you enough. We had struggled for several months trying various remedies trying to rid our 7-year-old son of plantar's warts, all to no avail.
