Planter's wart, (Plantar Wart) is one of over 100 types of human papilloma virus (HPV) 30 of which are sexually transmitted diseases (STD)'s. Planter's wart can be found on the sole, or plantar portion of the foot. This type of HPV, planter's wart has been compared to an iceberg, as it can be twice the size beneath the skin.
