Anal Warts Cure

Anal warts, also known as venereal warts, condylomata acuminata are external systems of infection caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). The HPV virus is a family virus with over 100 different strains. The systems include anal warts, genital warts, common hand warts, and the planter warts that are found on the feet.

The number of Americans that now have at least one form of sexually transmitted HPV stands at 20 million, there are approximately 5.5 million new cases a year. This is the most prevalent and rapidly spreading sexually transmitted disease, in America. As teens are getting more sexually active, parents need to be more aware of their life style, ask questions, and explain the use of condoms, and the fact that they are not 100 percent safe either, the wart causing virus can affect areas of skin not protected by condom use. They need to know that nothing outside abstinence is 100 percent safe. All parents would like to think that their teen isn’t sexually active, but fact is that 60 percent of them are, and Anal Warts is just one of the viruses you can wake up with by not using protection, such as a condom or dental dam, (a female sexual barrier device).

Symptoms for Anal Warts

An important fact is that many individuals have no outward signs that they are in fact infected, with the HPV virus. The National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Diseases have indicated that at least 50 present of the women that have HPV have no outward symptoms they are unaware that they are infected. Lack of proper education and information is a large factor in the rapid spread of this virus that is across our country; there is no safe haven. If you are sexually active you are at risk. Your chances of contracting the wart virus or anal warts multiplies with each new sexual partner, not only are you engaging in sex with them, but with all the past partners they have had.

When anal warts appear, they can be as small as a tiny bump or have the appearance of a large cauliflower shaped growth. Anal warts occurring within sight or on the outside, are called Perianal, those found inside the rectum are called Intra-anal, these are found within an inch or two of the rectum.

If you suffer any pain at all with anal warts, it will be minimal, if you do not take bowel softeners or add fiber to your diet, you may have bleeding with your stools. You may want to abstain from anal sex this only aggravates the Anal Warts, and may cause them to bleed also.

Some other facts you want to know, is to make sure that you use a soft tissue paper after each bowel movement, and wash with warm water. There are natural herbs, that you can add to a warm bath that will do wonders to help your anal warts.

Cut your intake of coffee, sodas, teas all drinks that contain caffeine. Minimize your intake of red meats, cheeses and other dairy products as well as breads and pastas. Add whole grain, fruits, and vegetables as well, for fiber intake. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. This will keep your bowels soft and regular, you should have two to three bowel movements a day, if not you have a problem. If your job requires that you sit in one position for more then one hour, take a break of five minutes and go for a walk. This will relieve the pressure on the anal warts. When lifting heavy objects bend at the knees, ware a belt and never strain. Set time aside each day to exercise, preferably outdoors walking is a wonderful way to meet your neighbors, and to smell the roses.

Doctors usually, identify anal warts by visual exam of the suspected infected area, the warts can be so small he at times, will find the need to use a magnifying glass to verify the presence of the anal warts. In removing the anal warts the doctor hopes to eliminate any discomfort, the patent is under at the time. Surgical removal is not an anal wart cure it is done to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to others. In fact it may cause your anal warts to spread on your rectum. There currently no anal warts cure; only measures of relief for the time being.

Currently anal wart treatment includes, topical chemical solutions, topical anti-viral solutions, electrosurgery, surgical removal, immunotherapy, and cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen). These can cause scare tissue, infections, as well as pain. It is recommended that you try less evasive measures to treat the warts at the first sign of symptoms rather but only if you have cleared this with your physician first. Treating the virus is possible, but to date there is no product that can declare to be a true anal wart cure.

In most cases, when a person finds that they have the HPV virus, they are devastated.

Finding as much information on HPV as possible, and turning to others as in support groups will help you come to terms with HPV, anal warts. You are not alone let them help you move forward to a healthy happy life.
