However how can you become successful if your hand moles are bothering you because it has melanoma? Melanoma is a deadly skin cancer that can affect anybody. No one is free of getting melanoma regardless of the color of the skin. Melanoma could occur in the abnormal moles located in different parts of the body including the hand moles. Moles are generally normal but for some reason there are moles that changes and grow differently than normal moles. <br />

Usually people who are aware of the risks cover their face first, and then the back, legs and the hands are less noticed. As the hands could get hand moles, the risk of developing melanoma in the hands increases if the hands have sun burn.<br />

Moles are common on skin exposed to the sun, like the back of the hand. These hand moles can have light or dark brown color and becomes darker if exposure to the sun is prolonged. Not only whiter people could develop melanoma on hand moles. Even people of color could have hand moles if they don’t take care of their sun habits. The risk is also higher in places where the sun is present in all year-round.  Melanoma on the hands can also develop inside the palm of a hand. Other less exposed areas such as the soles of the feet and under the nails can potentially get melanoma.<br />

Hand moles should be monitored if someone has a family history of skin cancer. Hand moles than begin to change in size and appearance are more likely to become melanoma. Most dermatologists recommend that people with history of melanoma in a first-degree kinship should have a skin examination that is analyzed at the lab. It is true that early diagnosis offers most hope of cure for melanoma. People who have large hand moles or moles with hairs on the hand are potentially at risk with melanoma.  Other people who have whiter skin and red or blond hairs should have their hand moles checked regularly.<br />

To reduce the instances of melanoma in hand moles, avoid going out in the sun without protection. The skin without protection will easily burn the skin thus altering its DNA. It will change your hand moles into a pre cancerous stage and will turn to melanoma later in life. Nobody is immune to melanoma and even though many suggest that hand moles bring good luck, however, you always have to believe that hand moles may become cancerous and the person is one of the unlucky persons on earth.</p>
